SHORTBREAD CREAMS

From 1922:

Take 10oz. flour, 5oz. butter, 5oz. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoonful cream of tartar, ½ teaspoonful bicarbonate of soda. Rub in the butter, well beat the eggs, and mix all thoroughly together and bake in small tins.
