Rub 3oz. butter into ½ lb. flour, add a teaspoonful baking powder, 3oz. sugar and a well beaten egg. Stir in enough milk to make a light paste, roll out and cut with a fancy cutter, putting a teaspoonful of raspberry jam on each. Grease a slide, putting buns on gently, and bake in a quick oven for 10 minutes. These cakes will be found delicious.
