Pumpkin and Nut Pie

From 1911:

One half pint of cooked and sifted pumpkins, one fourth pint sugar, one level teaspoon each of ginger and one cinnamon, scant one-half teaspoon salt, two well beaten eggs, one-half pint of milk.
Bake In pastry; when done cover with whipped cream and decorate with salted pecan nuts.
