From 1922:
Sift together 3 cupfuls of flour, 3 teaspoonfuls baking powder, and 1 teaspoonful of salt.
Add 1 tablespoonful of sugar, ½ cupful of chopped walnuts, 1 cupful of milk, and 2 beaten eggs.
Mix well and put in well-greased tin.
Let rise for 20 minutes, and then bake in a moderate oven.
