MUSHROOM PUDDING

Line a greased basin with suet paste, then fill with mushrooms cut into pieces, 1 sheep’s kidney, 1 oz. of streaky bacon cut into dice, 1 teaspoonful of chopped onion and parsley, a dredge of flour, a small piece of butter, and a cupful of stock or water. Boil for 2 hours.
