Marshmallow Pudding a la Stanley

From 1915:

One-half pound marshmallows
One quarter cup candied cherries
One-half cup English walnut meats
One cup heavy cream
Two tablespoons powdered sugar
One-half teaspoon vanilla.

Soak cherries in rum to cover one hour. Then cut in pieces. Cut walnuts and marshmallows in small pieces. Whip cream, add sugar and vanilla. Fold in remaining ingredients. Mold and chill for at least an hour.
