Take 4oz. butter, 6oz. sugar, 8oz. flour, 1 teaspoonful baking powder. Beat butter and sugar to a cream, add eggs one at a time and beat well. Sift in flour and baking powder, and pour into a well-greased tin. If not thin enough a little milk may be added. Bake in a moderate oven for about 20 minutes. When ready let the sponge cool and cut into desired sizes. Before doing this take a basin and mix together with milk till nice and thin, 6oz. cocoa and 8oz. icing sugar. Throw in sponges and cover with mixture, take them out and throw in a basin of desiccated cocoanut and cover all over. This done place on a plate to dry.
