Ham Balls

From 1922:

Take 1 cupful milk, ½ cupful stale breadcrumbs, 1 cupful mixed cold ham, the yolk of 1 egg, 1 tablespoonful parsley, cayenne if liked. Boil the milk, add breadcrumbs, and stir over fire till thick; add the ham, yolk of egg and cayenne well mixed together. When cold form into balls, dip in eggs and breadcrumbs, and fry.
