Grape Sauce

From1922:

6lb. grapes
2 tablespoonfuls salt
2lb, sugar
2 quarts vinegar
½ teaspoonful cayenne pepper
1oz. ground ginger
1oz. cloves
1oz. allspice

Boil all together about 3 ½ hours and allow to cool, then press through a colander and bottle.
Shake before using.
