Mix together ½ lb. of flour, 1 teaspoonful of baking powder, pinch of salt, 3 oz. chopped suet, 2 oz. of raisins or sultanas. Mix to a light dough with ½ pint milk, form into small balls and drop into fast-boiling water, boil quickly for 20 minutes. Serve with jam sauce or warmed golden syrup.
