Cook as much sago as required in the ordinary way, then add sufficient dates to color and sweeten sago; simmer till quite soft, turn out in a wet jelly mould; put to cool; serve with a nice boiled custard or sweet sauce. This will be found a very nice, economical pudding, and quite simple to make.
