From 1922:
Two pounds of flour, ½ lb. sugar, ½ lb. cocoanut, ¼ lb. butter, pinch salt. Rub butter into flour, add cocoanut, sugar and salt.
Mix into stiff paste, with little milk or water. Roll out into thin layer, cut into shapes with tumbler, and bake on floured oven tray until a nice brown.
Store in airtight tin.
