Cocoa Pudding

with any sweet sauce.

Take ½ lb. of breadcrumbs, ½ oz. butter, ¾ pint boiling milk, 1 dessertspoonful sugar, 1 egg, 5 teaspoonfuls cocoa (mixed with a little water) and a pinch of salt. Mix the dry ingredients well together, and then the beaten eggs, add the dissolved cocoa and pour the boiling milk over the whole. Boil for an hour and serve with any sweet sauce.
