CLARET CUP

From 1922:

One bottle of claret, 1 wineglassful of curacoa, ½ wineglassful of brandy, 2 bottles of lemonade, 2 bottles of soda water, 4 tablespoonfuls sifted sugar, the fine parings of lemon peel, a spray of borage, 1 lb. of ice. Mix all together. Stand in ice for a quarter of an hour.
