Take ½ lb. mushrooms, 1 garlic or small onion, 1 teaspoonful of chopped parsley, 2 oz. margarine, 2 slices toast, salt.
Method: Peel and chop garlic or onion, peel and slice mushrooms; brown all in a pan with margarine, taking care not to burn; season with salt, and when nearly done add the garlic and parsley. Serve on toast with remainder of black butter poured over.
