Cheese Fingers

Take 3oz. of grated cheese

Take 3oz. of grated cheese. 3oz. flour, 2oz. Butter, ½ a tea- spoonful baking powder, salt and pepper to taste, a little milk. Mix the cheese, flour, butter, baking powder, salt and pepper to a stiff paste with a very little milk. Roll out on a floured board and cut into strips about three inches long. Bake on a tin in a quick oven for five minutes until the fingers are a very light brown.
