Grandma-approved old fashioned recipes

Boiled Honey Custard

2 cups milk
1-3 cup honey
3 yolks
½ teaspoon salt
Mix honey, eggs and salt. Scald milk and pour over the eggs. Cook in double boiler till mixture thickens. This custard may be used on gelatine desserts in place of cream, or poured over sliced oranges or stewed fruit.
