Boil cabbage until it is tender, changing the water when the cabbage is half done.
Chop it fine and put with it 2 beaten eggs, 2 tablespoonfuls of melted butter, ¼ of a cup of milk, salt and pepper to taste.
Put into a buttered pudding dish, strew crumbs on the top, dot with bits of butter and bake to a good brown.
If you wish, you may sprinkle a little grated cheese on over the crumbs.
