From 1914:

For the big Punch bowl, which should occupy a prominent position in a corner, placarded as Blarney Castle, try the following drink, which may bear some resemblance to “Cruiskeen Lawn” without its incendiary ingredients.

Put in an agate saucepan four cupfuls of sugar and two cupfuls of water. Boil ten minutes, then add three cupfuls of green tea, four cupfuls of strawberry syrup, the juice of ten oranges, eight lemons and two grated pineapples. Let stand half an hour, then add iced water to make three gallons of liquid. Add two cupfuls of Maraschino cherries and two quarts Appolinaris and serve in a punch bowl with a large piece of ice.
